My religion - Feast of the Immaculate Conception
Feast of the Immaculate Conception
“Hail Mary, Full of Grace”
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, is a Holy Day of Obligation in the Catholic Church.
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrates Mary’s conception in the womb of Saint Anne without original sin.
In order to become the mother of Christ she was created free from the burden of original sin.
“Mother of Christ, Mother of Mine”
On the Cross, before He died, Jesus gave Mary to us as our mother. She is the mother of God and our mother also. She takes care of us and loves us as the dearest, gentlest, and purest mother.
